2017-18 Tuition and Fees

Annapolis Area Christian School is committed to keeping tuition rates as reasonable as possible, while still offering lots of choices and without sacrificing the quality of the educational experience.  Private tuition dollars rather than government funding allow us to infuse a biblical worldview in every facet of the educational experience.

We have a lot to offer at AACS and strongly encourage our students to participate in as many school activities as possible. Rather than surprising parents with extra costs throughout the year for field trips, clubs, sports, performing arts classes and more, we include everything in our tuition and activity fee.  Parents can plan around a regular monthly payment while students can get involved in as many activities as they'd like.  See our Campus Life page to learn about the benefits of getting involved in extracurricular activities.
 
Tuition Payment Options
Monthly - The monthly payment plan begins in May and ends in April, with no regular tuition payment due in the month of January.  It is an 11 month plan.  A $300 deposit towards next year's tuition is collected in January rather than a regular tuition payment.
Annual - You may pay in one single installment due on June 1st.
Semester - The semester plan has two payments.  The first is due June 1st and the second is due December 1st.

We do offer a discount for full-time pastors and for alumni.  Please ask about this, if applicable, when talking to your admissions representative.
 
Lower School Tuition: PreK – 5th Grade
The activity fee at the Lower Schools include the costs for all field trips, books, art fees, a yearbook, student admission to AACS athletic events and performances, and two free passes per family for all AACS athletic events and performances.

Middle School Tuition: Grades 6-8
The $225 activity fee at the Middle School includes the costs for a Google Chromebook for each student, athletic fees for all sports, field trips, clubs, robotics, 6th and 8th grade retreats, and participation in the band, choir, drama, or marching band.  It also includes student admission to AACS athletic events and performances, and two free passes per family for all AACS athletic events and performances.

Upper School Tuition: Grades 9-12
The $950 activity fee at the Upper School includes the cost for a Google Chromebook for all students, an all-you-care-to-eat daily lunch provided by SAGE, athletic fees for participation in all sports, art and other class fees, AP test fees, robotics and engineering fees, drama participation, study skills class, 9th and 12th grade retreats, a yearbook, and participation in any of the Upper School bands or choirs. The fee also includes student admission to AACS athletic events and performances, and two free passes per family for all AACS athletic events and performances.  These types of fees tend to come as unexpected costs to parents at most other schools.  We include everything in the activity fee and then encourage students to get involved in as many activities as possible. The SAGE lunch program, included within the activity fee, includes a different menu each day, consisting of hot meal choices, a salad bar, sandwich bar, soups, desserts, and a variety of drinks.  All food is prepared fresh on-site. Watch the SAGE Video here.
